A Vintage Oak and Glass Desktop Bookcase
This vintage oak and glass desktop bookcase is a compact, upright piece designed to stand on a desk or table. It has a solid oak frame with two shaped side panels, a top rail and a base, with glass inserts set into the back and the floor of the case. The glass is textured and carries raised sailing vessel motifs, including ships and yachts, which give the piece a distinctly nautical character. The maker is not identified.
