A Collection of Pipe Cleaning Pocket Tools and Pocket Knives

This mixed lot brings together three pipe cleaning pocket tools and six folding pocket knives, offering a varied group for collectors of everyday carry and smoking accessories. The pipe tools include two slender metal rods with rounded or knobbed ends, and a larger folding implement with a dark-tipped handle, a fine pointed pick and a small hinged blade. The knives are single-blade folders in a range of sizes and styles. Several have engine-turned or striped metal scales, one has a clip fitting, and one has a tortoiseshell-effect body with an oval plaque on the side. The bottom-right knife has a hinged clip at one end. No makers’ marks are clearly legible in the photographs, so attribution is not confirmed.

Condition and Collector Appeal

The pieces show general handling wear, including light surface scratches and minor marks on the metal bodies, with some dulling on the blades and tools. The tortoiseshell-effect knife and the larger folder appear to have the most visible use. Functionality cannot be judged from the photographs, and no claims are made about the working condition of any item. The group would suit a collector building a display of pocket tools, a buyer interested in mixed antique penknives, or someone wanting a varied lot for study or restoration.
