Vintage Pocket Knife Collection
This lot comprises a collection of vintage pocket knives and a pipe tool, offered together. The group includes a folding knife with a bottle opener and a blade, stamped with the name Taylor Woodson, and a knife bearing the advertising wording Kingston Paints, A. Sanderson & Co Ltd, Hull. A further folding knife has a brown-and-cream handle with a corkscrew and a blade, and a long, slender folding pipe tool with a pointed pick sits alongside them. A brown leather sheath is also included.
Condition and Collectability
The knives show general signs of age, including scuffing and light marks to the blades and metal bodies, consistent with a collection of older pocket tools. The leather sheath shows creasing and wear to its surface. Items of this kind are of interest to collectors of advertising pocketknives, vintage pocket tools and smoking accessories, and the varied makers’ and advertising marks make this a useful mixed group for those building a themed collection.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
