Two Vintage Raleigh Bicycles
This lot comprises two vintage Raleigh bicycles, both of traditional ladies’ style. The first has an olive green frame, a black saddle, upright handlebars and mudguards. The second has a maroon frame, a black saddle, mudguards and a rear luggage rack. Both machines share the classic upright riding position associated with British town and utility bicycles of the mid-to-late twentieth century.
Condition and Originality
Both bicycles show clear signs of age and outdoor storage, including surface dirt, rust to the mudguards and wear to the tyres. Their original paintwork, saddles and fittings appear to be present, though the extent of any originality can only be confirmed on inspection. The pair would suit a collector of vintage British bicycles, or a restorer seeking two period frames for a renovation project.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
