Vintage Leather and Chrome Recliner Lounge Chair with Matching Footstool

This lot comprises a vintage recliner lounge chair upholstered in red leather and set upon a circular chrome base, together with a matching footstool. The high-backed chair has horizontal channelled stitching across its back, a contoured seat and a neatly piped edge. The footstool has a rectangular leather top with a matching edge and a chrome base of the same design.

Condition and Originality

The leather is generally even in colour, with some light creasing and visible marks to the seat cushion and the top of the footstool. No maker’s marks or labels are visible, so the originality of the upholstery and base cannot be confirmed from the information available. The rich burgundy finish and chrome detailing give the set strong vintage character, which may appeal to collectors of retro seating and to buyers looking for a statement piece with a distinctive colour.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
