Romer Wine Glasses
This is a set of twelve vintage Romer glasses, likely originating from Germany or Austria. These glasses feature a distinctive bowl shape, traditionally used for wine or rummer service, and are characterized by their green-tinted stems and bases. The clear glass bowls allow the color of the beverage to be appreciated, while the textured stems provide a comfortable grip and a touch of elegance. These glasses represent a classic style of European glassware, often found in traditional settings or used for special occasions.
Condition and Collectibility
These glasses show signs of age and use, which is typical for vintage items. There may be minor imperfections such as light scratches or small bubbles within the glass, adding to their character. The set is of interest to collectors of antique glassware, particularly those specializing in European drinking vessels. The complete set of twelve makes this a desirable find for those looking to furnish a dining table with a touch of old-world charm or to add to an existing collection.
