Historical Post Office Box
This is a vintage cast iron Royal Mail post box, bearing the emblem of Queen Elizabeth II (ER). The box is a classic example of British street furniture, designed for the collection of letters and parcels. Its robust construction and distinctive design reflect a bygone era of postal service, and it would have been a familiar sight on streets across the United Kingdom.
Condition and Collectibility
This post box shows signs of age and weathering, consistent with its outdoor use and vintage status. The paintwork is faded and there may be some surface rust, adding to its authentic character. This piece would be of interest to collectors of British memorabilia, postal history enthusiasts, or those seeking a unique and decorative item with a strong historical connection.
