Vintage Geometric Pattern Rug
This vintage rug measures approximately 4ft x 7ft and is offered as a decorative floor covering with a traditional medallion design. The field is built around a central star-shaped medallion, with a geometric and floral composition repeated across the ground. The rug is finished with fringed ends at both short sides and a multi-band border that frames the main field.
Condition and Originality
The rug shows clear signs of age and use, including visible wear to the fringe and some fraying along the ends. The colours have softened over time, with navy, green, rust and cream tones appearing faded in places. The central medallion and border design remain legible throughout. Sold as seen. Its size and surviving pattern may appeal to collectors of vintage floor coverings and to buyers seeking a characterful rug for a traditional or eclectic interior.
