Introduction
This is a vintage Russian-made mechanical wristwatch, featuring a distinctive tank-style case. The dial is black with bold white and red Arabic numerals, and prominently displays a red star emblem above the ‘Kamenskij’ signature. The watch features a rotating bezel with minute markers, and is a classic example of Soviet-era military timekeeping. The movement is a 17 jewel mechanism, as indicated by the ‘17 kamней’ inscription on the dial.
Condition
This timepiece exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with its vintage nature. The case shows patina and some surface wear, and the crystal has some visible scratches. The strap is a later replacement. Despite its condition, this watch presents a unique opportunity for collectors of Soviet military timepieces or those interested in vintage mechanical watches. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
