Mixed Lot of Whisky and Spirit Miniatures Including Sempé Boxes
This mixed lot brings together a stoneware flagon bearing the legend “The Grand Whisky of the Highlands”, a miniature of The Famous Grouse Finest Scotch Whisky, a further small bottle with a red cap, and three Sempé boxes. The stoneware flagon is labelled “Pusquaebach” and “Blended Scotch Whisky”, and is finished with a pink ribbon tied around its neck. The Famous Grouse miniature carries the familiar grouse label and a screw cap. The Sempé boxes are in red, black and blue, each decorated with a gilt diamond motif and inscribed “La Couronne de” in the style of the Sempé range, with the black example reading “Napoléon”. The small bottle in the centre bears a red cap and a partly legible label.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The items are presented as seen, and no assessment has been made of the contents, seals or fill levels of any bottle. The boxes show general handling marks consistent with age and storage. Bottles of this type, particularly the stoneware flagon and the Sempé packaging, are of interest to collectors of Scotch whisky memorabilia and of decorative spirit packaging. Buyers wishing to examine the lot in more detail are encouraged to view it before the sale.
