Vintage Scout and Guide Badge Lot with Metal Trinket Pot
This lot comprises a collection of vintage scout and guide badges, presented with a metal trinket pot. The group includes a blue North Wales Camp neckerchief, two wooden fleur-de-lis toggles on cord, and a number of embroidered cloth badges. Notable pieces include Guides Cymru 75th anniversary patches marked 1910 and 1985 with the Dathliad inscription, three Headquarters London patches depicting a building, several Glamorgan county badges, Welsh dragon insignia, and yellow and white striped badges dated 1985. A small Chinese opera face badge is also included.
Condition and Collector Interest
The condition of the individual items varies, and several pieces show signs of age and handling, including loose threads and minor wear to the cloth edges. The metal trinket pot shows surface ageing and dust to its exterior. Originality of each item cannot be fully verified, and no item is described as complete or in working order. The lot will appeal to collectors of Welsh guiding and scouting memorabilia, particularly those interested in 1985 anniversary badges and county insignia.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
