Vintage Snake Pendant on 23” Necklace
This lot is a vintage snake pendant on a 23” necklace, offered as a single piece of costume jewellery. The pendant is shown on a silver-coloured link chain, with the chain passing through a loop at the top of the design.
The pendant is cast in the form of a coiled serpent, with the body wound into several loops and the head finished at the lower end. The surface of the body appears to carry fine textured scale detailing, and the head is moulded with defined features. The pendant hangs from a jump ring on a box-link chain of consistent width, and a second length of similar chain is also shown. No maker’s mark or hallmark is visible in the photograph.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The pendant and chain show no obvious damage in the photograph, and the snake’s coils and head appear intact. The pendant is offered as a vintage piece, and any further wear or surface change should be checked by the buyer before bidding. The item is not described as tested or guaranteed in any other way.
