Four Collectable Soft Toys Including TY, Russ and Boyds Bears
This lot comprises four plush soft toys: a teal bear with a heart-shaped TY tag and navy satin ribbon bow, a curly-furred tan bear wearing a green fleece top with a Russ tag, a small jointed bear in striped dungarees with a Boyds Bears Bearwear hang tag, and a black and white spotted plush dog. The teal bear is the TY beanie-style piece, while the Russ and Boyds Bears pieces reflect the styling of their respective makers. The dog has a plush construction with black ears and spots on a white body. Together the group offers a varied selection of soft toy styles from several well-known names in the field.
Condition and Collector Interest
The toys show the general wear expected of played-with soft toys, and no further detail on their condition can be confirmed from the information available. Tags are attached to the TY bear, the Russ bear and the Boyds Bears piece, which may add to their appeal to collectors who value retained labelling. The mix of three recognised brands and a plush dog makes this lot of interest to collectors of TY, Russ and Boyds Bears, as well as to buyers seeking gifts or decorative soft toys.
