Vintage Spade & Shovel Head

This is a vintage spade and shovel head, likely dating to the mid-20th century. The head is constructed from heavy-gauge metal, exhibiting a classic, utilitarian design. The handle socket suggests it was originally paired with a wooden shaft, and the overall form indicates its use for digging and turning soil in agricultural or gardening contexts.

Condition & Collectibility

The spade and shovel head shows signs of age and use, with surface rust and wear consistent with outdoor exposure. While not pristine, this patina adds to its character and authenticity. This piece would appeal to collectors of antique garden tools, those interested in rural history, or individuals seeking a unique decorative element for a garden or workshop.
