Selection of Striped Folding Deck Chairs
This lot comprises a selection of folding deck chairs and striped folding seating, offered together. The group includes wooden-framed deck chairs with striped canvas slings in pink and cream, and in tan with yellow, brown and cream stripes. A further striped sling is shown in green and cream on a wooden frame, and a folding chair with a tubular aluminium frame, striped fabric seat and back, black armrests and a small striped footrest completes the group. The maker of each piece is not identified.
Condition and Originality
The condition of the lot is mixed and is best assessed in person or by reference to the photographs supplied with the listing. The striped fabrics show visible fading and general signs of age and use. The wooden frames display surface wear consistent with outdoor storage. The aluminium chair appears to retain its black armrests and striped covering. The fabrics appear to be the original striped coverings, which may appeal to collectors of retro leisure furniture and to buyers seeking characterful pieces for garden or seaside-themed displays. Buyers should note that no statement is made as to the functionality of any item in this lot.
