Vintage Toy Collection
This lot features a charming collection of vintage toys, including a wooden Wizzzer Whirler puppet, a tinplate Minic Puppy and Spider, and an electronic dog. The Wizzzer Whirler is a classic string puppet, likely dating from the mid-20th century, with a painted face and articulated limbs. The Minic Puppy and Spider are delightful examples of tinplate toys, showcasing detailed craftsmanship and vibrant colours. The electronic dog adds a touch of mid-century modern playfulness to the collection.
Condition and Collectibility
This collection presents as a well-loved assortment of vintage toys, with signs of age and wear consistent with their history. The puppet shows some paint loss and wear to the strings, while the tinplate toys exhibit minor scratches and surface rust. The electronic dog’s functionality is unknown. Despite these imperfections, the toys retain their charm and appeal, making them desirable for collectors of vintage toys and nostalgic enthusiasts.
