Vintage Triang Railways, Escalado and Original Cluedo Games Lot

This lot comprises three vintage boxed games: a Chad Valley Escalado race game, a Tri-ang Railways set and Waddingtons Original Cluedo, The Great Detective Game. Each is presented in its original box, offering a mix of mid-twentieth-century toy design and later classic board gaming. The group would suit a collector of vintage toys, a railway enthusiast or anyone interested in nostalgic family games.

The Escalado box is printed in bold red and cream with the Chad Valley name and the slogan “The thrilling action race game”, alongside an illustration of a hand turning a handle to set racing horses in motion. The Tri-ang Railways box features a period scene of three people setting up a model railway layout, with the Tri-ang and Railways branding in the lower corner. The Waddingtons Original Cluedo box has a green border and a yellow title panel reading “Original Cluedo, The Great Detective Game”, with the Waddingtons name at the top and a playing 3-6 players notice on the lower edge.

Condition and Collector Appeal

All three boxes show clear signs of age and handling, including edge wear, creasing and marks to the card surfaces. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
