Mixed Lot of Trinket Pots, China and Decorative Ceramics
This lot brings together a varied selection of decorative china, trinket pots and small collectables, as described in the lot title as a box of trinket pots and china including a delft tile tray. The photograph shows a large blue and white charger-style plate decorated with birch trees and a windmill scene, which corresponds to the delft tile tray referred to in the description. Alongside it are three rectangular floral trays, an oval serving dish with a rose pattern and gilt edge, a teacup and saucer with a yellow floral design, several jugs and creamers, and a selection of small enamelled and ceramic trinket boxes. Also visible are a number of white metal sugar tongs, spoons and a sifter spoon, plus a conch-style shell and a glass paperweight.
Condition and Collecting Interest
Condition can only be judged from the photographs, which show the pieces laid out on a table rather than individually. No obvious chips, cracks or major damage are apparent in the images, but fine crazing, rubbing, hairline cracks or wear to gilt edges and metal plating may not be visible at this scale, so prospective buyers are encouraged to view the lot in person or request further images. Marks, backstamps and hallmarks are not clearly legible in the photographs and cannot be confirmed from the images. The variety of pieces makes this lot appealing to collectors of trinket boxes, floral china and vintage tableware, and to anyone looking to build or add to a display of decorative ceramics.
