Vintage Two Piece Boat Fishing Rod
This lot is a vintage two piece boat fishing rod, offered as two separate sections. The rod has a black finish with red binding bands along its length, and a cork grip forms the handle section. A silver-coloured metal ferrule joins the two sections, and line guides are fitted along the blank. The rod is unbranded, and no maker’s marks are evident.
Condition and Collectability
The two sections show the expected wear for a rod of this age, with the black finish and red bands visible throughout. The cork handle and metal ferrule are present, and the line guides are visible along the upper section. The rod is sold as seen, and no further testing or confirmation of function has been carried out. Its original two piece form and period styling may appeal to collectors of vintage angling tackle or to anglers seeking a retro boat rod.
