Vintage Wood Block Plane
This is a large vintage wood block plane, likely dating to the early to mid 20th century. The plane features a robust wooden body, indicative of traditional craftsmanship. Its substantial size suggests it was intended for heavier-duty woodworking tasks, such as smoothing large surfaces or preparing stock for joinery. The plane’s design is simple yet effective, reflecting a period when tools were built for durability and functionality.
Condition
This vintage block plane exhibits signs of age and use, with wear and tear consistent with its history. The wood shows patina and some minor imperfections, adding to its character. While the plane has not been tested, it presents well and would likely appeal to collectors of antique tools or those interested in restoring and using vintage woodworking equipment.
