Vintage Wooden Vegetable Rack with Wire Frame Baskets
This lot is a vintage wooden vegetable rack fitted with three wire frame baskets, offered as Lot 1160. The rack has a timber frame with a shaped upright and horizontal rails, and the three tiers of wire baskets are set between them at different heights. The combination of timber and metal gives the piece a practical, functional character typical of kitchen storage of its type. The maker is not stated, and the piece is offered as seen.
Condition and Collectability
The rack shows wear consistent with its age, including marks to the timber surfaces and darkening to the wire baskets. Dust and debris are visible in places, and the baskets would benefit from cleaning before use. The original frame and wire baskets appear to be present as a complete set of three tiers. Buyers interested in vintage kitchen storage, rustic home decor or utilitarian pieces with a practical history may find this lot of interest.
