1914 Star Medal

This is a 1914 Star medal, awarded to members of the British Expeditionary Force who served in France and Belgium between August and November 1914. The star-shaped medal is constructed of bronze and features crossed swords and a central circular medallion. It is topped with the King’s crown and bears the inscription “1914” and the regimental emblem of the 2nd York Regiment.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
