Pair of Walther Glas Swan Motif Platters

This lot comprises a pair of Walther Glas platters, made in Germany, offered as a matched set. Each piece is formed from frosted blue and clear glass and is decorated with a moulded swan motif within a shallow, elongated dish.

The platters are moulded with a swan design, with the bird’s head and neck rendered in relief against feather-like detailing that sweeps across the body of each dish. Blue-tinted glass highlights the swan’s wing and tail areas, contrasting with the clear and frosted sections. The rims are scalloped and finished with an iridescent blue tint, giving each piece a distinctive decorative edge.
