## Wedgwood Church Army 50th Anniversary Commemorative Plate
This is a commemorative plate produced by Wedgwood to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Church Army in 1943. The plate is crafted from fine bone china and features a detailed design commemorating the organisation’s work. It is accompanied by the original invitation to a reception held in honour of the anniversary, and a selection of press cuttings relating to the event.
## Condition and Collectibility
The plate appears to be in good condition, commensurate with its age. The accompanying invitation and press cuttings add to the historical significance and collectibility of this lot, offering a fascinating glimpse into the history of the Church Army. This would be a desirable addition to a collection of commemorative ceramics, Wedgwood pieces, or items relating to British social history.
