Wedgwood Peter Rabbit Pottery and Toy Collection
This lot comprises a collection of Wedgwood Peter Rabbit pottery and a related toy. The pottery includes a small teapot decorated with a Peter Rabbit scene and a pink-banded rim, a child’s mug with a Peter Rabbit illustration and blue banding, and a plate with a central rabbit motif and the words “Mr McGregor” around the rim. A further Wedgwood mug, bearing a Peter Rabbit design and the Wedgwood mark, is presented in its own box alongside a small plush toy. Also included is a fabric-covered toy with a green and white striped body, a Peter Rabbit label and a wooden dowel handle. The pieces are presented as a mixed group, with the teapot shown beside its blue card box.
Condition and Collector Interest
The items are offered as a collection and are sold as seen, with no guarantee of completeness or working order. Buyers are advised to inspect the lot carefully, or to request further details before bidding, as condition is not warranted. Several pieces are presented in their original boxes, which may appeal to collectors of Wedgwood nursery ware and Beatrix Potter memorabilia. The combination of ceramics and a character toy makes this a versatile group for display, gifting or a themed collection.
