Three Vintage Pottery Vases Including Wedgwood and Bourne Denby
This lot comprises three ceramic vases of differing forms and glazes. The largest is an ovoid vase in a matte green glaze, with horizontal ribbed banding beneath a wide, rolled rim. The central piece is a grey-green trumpet vase with vertical fluting rising from a footed base, attributed to Wedgwood. The third is a small bottle-necked vase decorated with stylised foliate motifs in green, grey and cream, attributed to Bourne Denby and designed by Glyn Colledge.
Condition and Collector Interest
No condition report has been supplied for this lot, and no damage, restoration or repair is recorded here. Prospective buyers are advised to inspect the pieces carefully before bidding. The combination of two recognised pottery makers and contrasting mid-century style glazes and forms may appeal to collectors of British ceramics and those seeking distinctive vases for display.
