White Aluminium Step Ladder for Domestic Use
This lot is a white aluminium step ladder, a freestanding folding design with a pair of upright handrails and a tread arrangement suited to reaching elevated shelves and household tasks. The ladder is offered as a single item and is catalogued as a practical piece of household or DIY equipment. Its straightforward construction makes it a useful addition to a home, workshop or garage.
The ladder has four flat treads, each with a grey, textured surface that provides grip underfoot. A curved handrail rises above the top platform on each side, and a black diagonal brace runs between the front and rear frames to help stabilise the structure. The legs terminate in dark rubber feet. The frame is finished in white, and the handrails are formed from rounded tubing.
Condition and Collector Interest
The ladder shows general signs of use. The white finish has scuffing and small areas of paint loss, most noticeably along the front upright and near the lower treads, and there are some surface marks across the tread surfaces. No testing has been carried out on the ladder’s locking or folding mechanisms, and it is sold as seen. Buyers seeking a functional, budget-conscious step ladder for everyday use, or a utilitarian example of mid-century style household equipment, may find this lot of interest.
