White Painted Bevelled Glass Wall Mirror
This is a rectangular wall mirror with a white painted frame and a bevelled glass plate. The frame is decorated with embossed relief moulding in a scrolling pattern, which runs around the front face and is set off by a fine beaded detail along the inner edge. The overall dimensions are 33” length x 23” height. No maker or manufacturer marks are evident.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The white painted finish shows some signs of wear and handling, particularly along the lower edges of the frame. The bevelled edges of the glass are a traditional feature that adds depth to the reflection. Pieces of this size and style suit buyers looking for a statement mirror for a hallway, living room or bedroom, and they are often sought after for painted or cottage-style interiors.
