Three Drawer White Painted Chest of Drawers
This lot is a white painted three drawer chest of drawers, offered as a freestanding piece of bedroom or hallway storage. The chest has three full-width drawers, each fitted with brass-coloured swan-neck style drop handles on ring backplates. The carcase is finished in a smooth, light painted surface, with a moulded top edge and a plinth base with a shaped recess to the front. The maker is not stated.
Condition and Presentation
The chest shows light surface marks to the top, including a faint scratch-like line near the left edge and a small mark towards the centre. Minor marks are also visible elsewhere on the painted finish. Buyers should inspect the piece in person before bidding. The handles are fitted as seen. This simple painted design will appeal to collectors and buyers looking for painted storage in a traditional style, and it may suit those restoring or refreshing a bedroom or hallway.
