A Pair of Wrought Iron Plant Stands
This lot comprises two wrought iron plant stands, each with a circular upper ring that supports a open scrolled design. The decorative work features curled and S-shaped scrolls rising from the rim, with further scrolls framing the lower sections of each stand. Both stands are supported on legs with twisted detailing, and each is braced by a cross-piece beneath the ring. The pair are presented as a matching set, with the same form and ornamentation evident on each piece.
Condition and Presentation
Both stands show surface wear consistent with their material, including areas of dark patina and visible rust, particularly along the lower bars and cross-pieces. The original black finish remains in places, and the scrolled upper sections retain their form. As a matched pair with traditional scrolled ironwork, these stands may appeal to collectors of garden antiquities or buyers looking for decorative plant stands for period or rustic garden settings.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
