WW1 1914-1918 War Medal

This is a British War Medal awarded to M2-151200 Pte, F Board of the Army Service Corps (A.S.C.) during the First World War. The medal features the effigy of King George V on the obverse, with the inscription “GEORGIUS V BRIT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP.” The reverse depicts Saint George on horseback slaying the dragon, with the dates “1914” and “1918” flanking the design. The medal is suspended from a ribbon via a standard medal bar.
