WW1 Sweetheart Brooches

This lot comprises three silver sweetheart brooches dating from the First World War. Each brooch features a regimental emblem – a Royal Engineers badge, a Royal Army Medical Corps badge, and a Royal Field Artillery badge. These were commonly given to loved ones by soldiers going off to war as tokens of affection and remembrance, and are highly sought after by collectors of military memorabilia.

Condition & Collectibility

The brooches show signs of age and wear, consistent with their period and likely use. The silver has tarnished in places, adding to their antique character. These brooches represent a poignant connection to the past and would be a valuable addition to any collection of First World War ephemera or military jewellery.
