WW2 Babies Gas Mask
This is a vintage WW2-era babies gas mask, designed to provide respiratory protection for infants during air raids. Constructed from rubber and featuring a clear viewing window, this mask was part of a wider civil defence effort to safeguard the population. The design incorporates straps to secure the mask to the child’s face, and a filter connection point for attaching a gas filter (filter not included).
Condition and Collectibility
This gas mask shows signs of age and wear consistent with its historical period. The rubber exhibits cracking and some deterioration, which is typical for items of this age. Despite its condition, this mask remains a fascinating piece of WWII history and a collectible item for those interested in civil defence, historical artefacts, or wartime memorabilia.
