WW2 British No5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet

This is a WW2 British No5 Jungle Carbine bayonet, manufactured by W.S.C. This bayonet was designed for use with the No5 Jungle Carbine rifle, a British weapon developed during the Second World War. The bayonet features a full tang construction, a blued steel blade, and a textured wooden grip. The blade is marked with the manufacturer’s code ‘W.S.C’ and a date stamp ‘7-54’. It comes complete with its original black painted steel scabbard.

Condition and Collectability

This bayonet shows signs of honest wear consistent with its age and military service. The blade exhibits some surface corrosion and wear, while the wooden grip shows some handling marks. The scabbard displays wear to the paint and some surface rust. Despite these imperfections, this bayonet remains a desirable piece for collectors of British military memorabilia, particularly those interested in WW2 weaponry. It offers a tangible link to a significant period in history.
