WW2 German War Merit Cross
This is a Second Class War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse) awarded by Nazi Germany during World War II. The cross features a traditional Maltese cross shape constructed from a base metal with a dark finish. The obverse displays a swastika at the centre, encircled by oak leaves. The reverse is plain. It was awarded to military personnel and civilians for meritorious service during the war.
Condition and Collectibility
This War Merit Cross shows signs of age and wear consistent with its history. While not pristine, it presents well and is a genuine example of a WWII German award. It would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, WWII history enthusiasts, or those interested in the artifacts of the period.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
