RAF Spitfire Brooch & Aviation Badges

This lot comprises a WWII-era sweetheart brooch depicting a Spitfire aircraft, alongside two additional aviation wing badges. The Spitfire brooch features detailed enamel work and a pin fastening, typical of those gifted to loved ones during wartime. The two wing badges are of a similar period and style, likely worn by RAF personnel. These items represent a tangible connection to the bravery and skill of those who served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.

Condition & Collectability

The badges show signs of age and wear, consistent with their vintage. The enamel on the Spitfire brooch has some minor chips, and the metal shows some patina. These imperfections add to the character and authenticity of the items. They would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, aviation enthusiasts, or those seeking a unique piece of history.
