WW2 Tank Periscope

This is a robust and well-preserved periscope, likely intended for use in a World War II-era tank or armoured vehicle. The construction appears to be primarily metal, with a substantial housing and optical lenses designed to provide a wide field of view from within the vehicle. The periscope’s design suggests it would have allowed tank crew members to observe the surrounding terrain without exposing themselves to enemy fire.

Condition & Collectibility

The periscope exhibits signs of age and use, consistent with its military history. There are areas of surface corrosion and wear, but the optics appear to be intact. This periscope would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, particularly those focused on WWII armour and equipment. It represents a tangible piece of history, offering a glimpse into the technology used during the war.
