Framed WWI Lincolnshire Regiment Memorabilia

This is a framed display commemorating a soldier from the First World War, featuring three photographs and a bronze cap badge. The frame houses portraits of a young man in civilian attire, a uniformed soldier wearing a cap, and another formal portrait. Affixed to the frame beneath the central military portrait is a detailed bronze cap badge of the Lincolnshire Regiment, adding a significant element of regimental history to the piece. The frame itself is constructed from wood and has a weathered appearance, suggesting age and authenticity.

Condition and Collectibility

The frame and photographs exhibit signs of age, with some fading and wear commensurate with their age. The glass covering the photographs shows some clouding and minor scratches. Despite these imperfections, the piece retains a strong visual appeal and historical significance. This framed display would be of particular interest to collectors of military memorabilia, those interested in the First World War, or individuals with a connection to the Lincolnshire Regiment.
