Wycombe Corporation Tin Chest & Demijohn
This antique lot features a Wycombe Corporation tin chest, likely used for storage or transport, displaying the crest of the Wycombe Corporation. Alongside the chest is a brown glass demijohn, a traditional vessel often used for storing liquids, such as wine or water. The chest exhibits a robust construction, indicative of its utilitarian purpose, while the demijohn adds a touch of historical charm to the collection.
Condition & Collectibility
The tin chest and demijohn show signs of age and wear consistent with their vintage. The tin chest displays surface rust and some minor dents, while the glass demijohn may exhibit minor imperfections or wear to the glass. Despite these imperfections, this lot presents a unique opportunity for collectors of local history, vintage storage items, or those interested in antique glass and metalwork.
