Yamaha Pacifica Black Electric Guitar
This Yamaha Pacifica is a six-string electric guitar in a black finish with a speckled, flecked appearance across the body. The Pacifica is Yamaha’s long-running electric guitar series, and this example follows the familiar double-cutaway style with a white scratchplate. It carries three pickups: two single-coil pickups at the neck and middle positions and a humbucker at the bridge, which has a patterned cover. The controls comprise two knobs and a three-way toggle switch. The headstock bears the Yamaha logo and Pacifica script, with six tuners, and the fretted neck has dot markers along the fingerboard.
Condition and Originality
This guitar shows clear signs of use. There are scuffs, marks and light scratches across the body, with some chipping visible around the edges, and the white scratchplate shows wear. A partly visible sticker sits on the lower body. The black finish and the scratchplate appear to be original to the instrument, and the bridge, pickups and tuners are all present. Its condition makes it a practical choice for a player wanting an affordable Yamaha electric, or for a buyer looking for a project guitar to restore or personalise. Yamaha Pacifica models are widely recognised, which will appeal to players and collectors of the series.
