Yamaha RX-V483 AV Receiver with Tannoy Home Cinema Speakers
This lot comprises a Yamaha Natural Sound AV receiver, model RX-V483, finished in black with a front panel featuring a large rotary volume control and a row of input and function buttons. It is accompanied by a Yamaha powered subwoofer in a black cabinet with a front-mounted power button and volume dial, and a Tannoy speaker system. The Tannoy set includes a centre speaker bearing the Tannoy badge, with a black grille and an oval-framed driver, alongside four matching satellite speakers with similar oval drivers. Together these items form a home cinema arrangement suited to a surround sound setup.
Condition and Collector Interest
The lot is offered without testing and no guarantee is given as to the operation of any component, so it is sold as seen. The receiver, subwoofer and speakers show general signs of use, and a plastic bag with handwritten writing is resting on the equipment. The model number RX-V483 and the Tannoy branding make this lot of interest to home audio enthusiasts, hobbyists restoring or repurposing older systems, and buyers seeking a multi-component Yamaha and Tannoy grouping for their own home cinema project.
