Yashica FX-D Quartz Camera in Case
The Yashica FX-D Quartz is a 35mm single lens reflex camera offered here with its black carrying case. It is presented as a collectable example of the Japanese manufacturer’s SLR range.
Yashica is the maker, and the body is marked with the model name FX-D and the Quartz designation to the front. The camera has a black finish with a pentaprism viewfinder housing on top, a shutter speed dial and a film advance lever on the top plate. A lens with a macro marking is fitted to the front of the body. The black case has a flap closure with a snap fastening and metal D-rings for a strap.
Condition and Collectability
This camera is sold as seen and has not been tested for function, so no working order is guaranteed. The body shows general signs of age and handling, and the lens and case show wear consistent with use. The case is included, which adds to the appeal for those interested in complete outfits of vintage film equipment. Buyers who collect Yashica SLRs or 1980s film cameras, or who are looking for a display piece or a project to restore, may find this lot of interest.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
