York jmc 849 Vintage Double Cassette Turntable with Speakers
This lot is a York jmc 849 vintage double cassette turntable offered with a pair of speakers. The turntable sits within a wood-effect cabinet and has a clear plastic dust cover over the record deck. The front panel carries two cassette windows and a row of chrome-finished control knobs and sliders, with the York name visible on the chrome trim. A pair of speakers with dark fabric fronts and wood-effect surrounds rests on top of the unit. A blue operating instructions booklet is also present with the lot.
Condition and Collector Interest
The unit shows general wear consistent with its age, including scuffing to the wood-effect casing and some marking to the speaker fabric. The dust cover appears to be in reasonable clear condition. A quantity of vinyl records in a green crate sits beneath the unit; buyers should confirm whether these form part of the lot. No guarantee is given as to working order, and the lot is offered as seen.
