Silver Lidded Polisher
This antique silver lidded polisher presents a classic example of early 20th-century silver craftsmanship. The pot features a hallmarked silver lid, intricately detailed, atop a glass body. The silver lid is likely designed to house a polishing compound, and the glass base allows for viewing of the contents and application to the item being polished. This piece is a testament to a bygone era of meticulous grooming and care for valuable possessions.
Condition and Collectibility
The silver lidded polisher exhibits signs consistent with age and use, including minor surface scratches and tarnish, which are expected for an antique piece. The glass body is intact, though may exhibit minor wear. This piece would appeal to collectors of antique silver, grooming tools, or those seeking a unique and decorative item with a touch of history.
