WWII Defence Medal & Life Saving Bronze Medal

This lot comprises a WWII Defence Medal, complete with ribbon, and a Life Saving Bronze Medal. The Defence Medal was awarded to those who served in the armed forces or civilian defence organisations during World War II. The Life Saving Bronze Medal recognises acts of bravery in saving human life, often awarded to civilians or members of rescue services. Both medals represent significant historical and personal stories of service and courage.

Condition & Collectibility

The medals show signs of age and wear, consistent with their history. The ribbons display some fading and minor wear, while the medals themselves exhibit some surface marks. Despite this, they remain desirable items for collectors of military memorabilia and historical artefacts. These medals offer a tangible connection to the events of WWII and the bravery of those who served, making them a valuable addition to any collection.
