Travel Games Set with Backgammon, Dominoes and Cards
This lot is a travel games set housed in a black faux leather hinged case with brass-coloured fittings and a carry handle. The lid is fitted with a green felt backgammon board, with red and cream points arranged in the traditional pattern. The lower section has a red velvet-lined tray divided into compartments, holding a set of cream dominoes with black pips, a wooden board with peg holes that appears to be a cribbage board, a black leather dice cup, and a pack of playing cards with a red patterned back. Also included are a clear case of cream dice described as poker dice, along with cream and red chips in cellophane bags. The case is marked Stano Carlton to the lower front panel.
Condition and Presentation
The case appears to be in good presentation overall, with the green felt backgammon surface and red velvet tray looking tidy. Please note that the items are sold as viewed and have not been tested, and completeness has not been verified. Travel games sets of this style are popular with collectors of mid-century and later leisure items, as well as with buyers looking for a compact gift or a portable option for family games nights.
