A Stack of True Crime and Mystery Books
This lot is a stack of around twelve paperback and hardback volumes, mostly non-fiction titles on true crime, unsolved mysteries and the paranormal. Visible titles include Unsolved Enigmas by Sam Pilger and Leo Moynihan, The Paranormal Files by Leo Moynihan, two copies of True Crime by Martin Fido and David Southwell (one published by Carlton), Worst Decisions…Ever! by Stephen Weir, Unsolved Mysteries by Joel Levy, The Cult Files by Leo Moynihan and Sam Pilger, The Crime Book (DK), and The Encyclopedia of True Crime by Charlotte Greig (Arcturus). The spines of the lower titles and a few others are partly obscured, but a copy of The Golden Age of Boxing is also partly visible near the top of the stack, consistent with the boxing titles mentioned in the lot description. The books are shown stacked on a wooden shelf.
Condition and Collector Interest
The photograph shows general shelf wear, including light marks and scuffing on some spines and edges. The white sticker with numbers on The Crime Book is visible on its spine. The condition of the interiors, page blocks and covers cannot be judged from this image, so buyers are advised to request further photographs or details before bidding. The lot will appeal to readers and collectors of true crime, unsolved cases and paranormal subjects, and to those seeking a varied group of reference titles from the same genre.
